Today was also very tiring. I started to get short of breath at 7.30am this morning, so the nurses put me onto the proper ventilator rather than the CPAP machine that I've been on so far. Because of the ventilator I now have to lie on my back which isn't as comfortable and makes me fidget a bit more (dad says I got that from him).
Dad came to see me in the morning, then lots of doctors came round and peered at me for ages then they told dad I was doing fine and that I might come of the ventilator in a few days if I was good. Apparently they do this twice a week thankfully they don't prod me or anything.
Later I had some of Mums milk which was strange as Ive only been drinking sugar water so far. I still have the air drain they put in me yesterday, but apparently all the air that escaped from my lung has now been emptied.
Then I had another ultrasound, Ive had a few now but this is the first one where Dad came to watch me on the TV.
Mum came to see me again while I was sunbathing (see yesterday) and bought more of that milk stuff, she spoke to me and held my head. I think she was a bit happier and stayed longer this time. She said she was going to come back and see me again tomorrow, I can't wait as I like her voice.
Dad came to tuck me in before he went home and left me in the care of another new nurse.
Bye Bye

i think that soon we will come and see you.love from robin.kiss kiss kiss, and a big,big hug.

That's a long day for sure. Family support is the best.
