Well today was a Good day. I started off with a bit of "light therapy" to top up my tan (that's why the photos are blue). Later Mum and Dad came in to see me and we hugged & talked for a bit, then Grandad & Grandma Norman came in to say goodbye as they were going home today.
I've been exploring more today with my hands, trying to get hold of all the equipment to see what it does. I keep setting an alarm off because I blocked my drip by moving my arm, always good to keep the nurses on their feet ;-). I found that if I push really hard I can lift my bottom up, and also I can stick my legs straight up in the air, who'd of thought that's what they are for.
Also I had a new room mate move in today but he's a bit noisy and much bigger than me so I ignored him till he went to sleep.
The doctors came to see me again today and decided I am doing well enough to come off the ventilator! So at 5.00pm they changed me back onto CPAP and waited around to see if I could cope, which of course I did.
Dad said that he had been looking forward to points in my life where he could be
proud of my achievements like crawling, walking, talking & becoming the 2nd female prime-minister ;-). He just didn't expect it to be so soon and it being that I was strong enough to come off a ventilator.
Mum and Dad were really happy, and I'm much more comfortable now. See you tomorrow.

It is so great to hear you are off the ventilator Jasmine and getting stronger day by day. As a housegroup we have been praying for you lots and can't wait to meet you when you are strong enough. We will keep praying so you can get home soon. lots of love Caroline xxxxxx (and the rest of housegroup).

Jasmine,
You are already proving you are a strong little girl and I am very pleased that we can all keep up to date with your progress through your blog - a big thank you to daddy for this. I look forward to meeting you when the doctors say you are well enough for big cuddles.
Lots of love to mummy and daddy too.

Baby Jasmine - you are absolutely gorgeous, and are already very photogenic [obviously you get both those qualities from your mother, NOT your father!] Your mummy and daddy are lovely, please send our love to them. We are praying for all three of you and can't wait to see you all soon.
Lots of love,
Claire, Sarah & Ruth Critt
