Today the Doctors did their rounds again and Mum and Dad came in to hear what the doctors had to say about my progress.
They said that the chest drain had healed up very nicely, in fact the doctor couldn't even see it and had to make sure he was inspecting the right baby! He also said that I was having a little trouble keeping my oxygen saturation above 90% and that's why they had started putting a little bit of oxygen into my incubator. Hopefully I will only need it for a few days then I will be OK again.
The Doctor also asked for a chest X-Ray just to be sure my lungs were OK now as he could here a bit of crackling through his stethoscope. The X-Rays came back fine and there are no problems there which was a relief.
I'm now on 18ml of milk every 2 hours, but I needed some medicine today to help me keep it down. I also did a lovely pooey nappy today just before mum and dad came so they avoided having to change it (hey I gotta give them a break occasionally, they look tired).
Later in the day Mum and Dad came to visit me again and Dad held me for a quick cuddle, but I got too excited and my oxygen saturation came down so he had to put me back in my incubator. So a few days bed rest and Ill hopefully be doing fine, bye for now.
