Well no blog for a few days because I've been getting ready to go home! Mum and Dad picked me up this afternoon and put me in my car seat. I was all snug and ready to leave, when the doctor wanted to give me my last head scan so they did in the the car seat but I didn't like it and wriggled lots.
Eventually Mum & Dad took me to our car and strapped me all in. Mum stayed with me in the back seat and Dad drove us home. The journey was fun and I fell asleep.
When we got home Mum made my bottle up and gave me a feed. Then Dad held me for a while and we all watched a bit of TV. Mum and Dad showed be my room and changed my nappy and then put me into my Moses basket.
Dad gave me the webcam and I showed off to Uncle Andrew and Auntie Eryl and to Grandma & Grandad Norman. They were all very impressed with how much I was wriggling.
I'm now tired so Ive got Dad to move my Moses basket into my room, but he said if I get scared I can sleep in Mum and Dads room instead.
Good night, see you in the morning!
What wonderful news!!!
Your Auntie Claire called in to see me tonight before she went to cubs, and told me the great news that you had gone home today! It will be much quieter for you now when you want to rest, with no nurses or other little ones to disturb you.But beware, the midwife will still be calling to visit you, and you can be sure it will be at the most inconvenient time. I am sure that mummy & daddy are so thrilled and proud to have you at home, but this can be a bit scary for them so try to be a good girl and break them in to this 'family'lark gently! You have done so well and I have enjoyed keeping up to date with your progress. Looking forward to finding out about all your new adventures at home. God bless you all xxxx
